MOPAR Mile High Nationals!!

Wow!!! What a great year! We all had so much fun. Special thanks to the Optimists serving Beer between the stands on the east side of the track.   The Top Fuelys went screaming right by their tent. If that dosen’t rattle your cage nothing will. I’m pretty sure Wheat Ridge’s Jay Huitt’s gonna be deaf from here on out. The spectators were very gracious and donated whenever they could to the cause. They had a wonderful time all weekend and raised a ton of money for the youth in our community. Rock on Optimists!!

Friday was the best with all the qualifications. It was pretty quiet for the beginning of the day. It was a great time to walk around and shake hands. I hope you got a card. If not, order a bumper sticker from the site. These first ones are going to be very valuable once the site gets big, and we will!!! Still pretty hot though, the weather I mean. Many cool stores with lots of cool stuff. I know I had to buy some stuff.

Saturday was a little cooler, literally. Thank goodness! The cars were running incredibly well, (and loud!). To the Army Ladies, Thanks so much for the water. I would’ve definitely bought a shirt but I guess a person has to be a pretty female to get one because they don’t sell them. Go figure. Sunday was a little lighter for us. Still a lot of people but not so much beer.
